Irrigation to 12 lakh acres in 4 years: Narayana

Nellore, Aug 03: Municipal Administration Minister P Narayana said that water would be supplied to 12 lakh acre farm land in the state in next four years. He interacted with the reporters after inspecting Telugu Ganga canal works in Nellore district today. Narayana directed the contractors and officials to complete Telugu Ganga canal works by October. He said that the canal will provide irrigation to 65,000 acres. He warned the contractors against substandard works. It may be noted that Minister is the founder of Narayana Educational Institutions in both the Telugu states.
