Babu Mohan denies bribe charge

Hyderabad, July 16: Comedian turned MLA Babu Mohan denied the allegations that he receives Rs 50,000 per month from mess contractor of JNTU Engineering College at Sultanpur in Medak district. It may be noted that the college students were staging protest for the past few days over the poor quality of food being served in the hostel. The students are continuing the protests though the principal assured that mess contractor will be replaced. The mess contractor reportedly told the students that he was paying a bribe of Rs 50,000 per month to Andhole MLA Babu Mohan and this added fuel to the ongoing agitation. Speaking to the media, MLA Babu Mohan refuted the allegations and directed the college principal to conduct an inquiry on inferior quality of food being served in the college, issue notice and cancel the contract.
