CM designs Yadadri's new layout

Hyderabad, July 16: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao directed the officials to start the Yadagirigutta temple development works within one week. He held a review meeting with Minister Jagadish Reddy, MP B Narsaiah, CS Rajiv Sharma, CMO Chief Secretary Narsing Rao, Endowments Special Officer Kishan Rao and other senior officials here. According to the CM, there are 15 acres of land on the Yadadrigutta, of which five acres will come under the main temple. Prakaram (temple corridor), mada streets and the 32 incarnations of Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy should be constructed in these five acres. The total area of the Gutta will be 180 acres. The Gouri Pradakshina road should be laid around the main gutta. Pushkarini, Kalyana Katta, residential complexes for priests, chariot mandapam, queue complex, VIP guest house, kitchen for preparing prasadam and addala mandiram should be constructed in this area only. Bus stand, kalyana mandapam, shopping complex, gardens to raise flowers for temple usages, cottages, parking places, dining hall for free meals, permanent helipad and other facilities should be constructed on the down hill area. Baswapur pond should be developed as a reservoir, on the lines of Hyderabad's tank bund. Boating and water games should be arranged.
