Leonardo DiCaprio donates $ 15 million for environment conservation
Washington, July 15: Hollywood superstar Leonardo DiCaprio donated $ 15 million for environmental conservation through his foundation. Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation will provide the grants to 30 organizations including the Amazon Watch, National Geographic’s Pristine Seas and Save the Elephants and the World Wildlife Fund (WWF). A year ago the actor helped to raise more than $ 25 million for environment and wildlife conservation activities. So far the actor has funded more than 70 projects in 40 countries across the world. In 2013, the actor donated $ 3 million to WWF for protection of tigers in Nepal. The foundation was set up in 1998 and it is dedicated to well-being of the all the planet’s inhabitants.
