Revanth didn't show up

Hyderabad, July 13: The ACB court got furious when the Telangana MLA and prime accused in cash-for-vote case Revanth Reddy didn't appear before the court for hearing on Monday. The court directed Revanth to attend the next hearing on August 3. Meanwhile, the advocates of Revanth Reddy filed a memo in the ACB court stating that Revanth was unable to come to Hyderabad following the High Court orders. But the ACB court, clarified that Revanth Reddy, even then, should compulsorily attend the court for the hearing. It is already known that the High Court had granted conditional bail to Revanth Reddy, Sebastian and Uday Simha, accused in cash-for-vote case. Justice Raja Ilango ordered Revanth not to go out of his constituency, Kodangal. He also told the trio to surrender their passports and to pay Rs 5 lakh as surety. TDP MLA Revanth Reddy was caught red-handed by the ACB while he was giving Rs 50 lakh as advance to nominated MLA Stephenson, after making an agreement for Rs 5 crore with the latter to vote for TDP MLC candidate.
