Pushkaralu: 60-lakh devotees to be served food in Godavari districts

Rajahmundry, July 12: NGOs and philanthropists are making arrangements to provide food to 60 lakh devotees visiting the East and West Godavari districts during Godavari Pushkaralu scheduled to be started from July 14. Food Control officials are taking all necessary steps to ensure that quality and hygienic food is served to devotees. The organizations which intend to serve food to devotees should register their name by paying Rs 100. The officials will inspect cooking equipment and ingredients to allow them to serve food. According to officials, 120 organizations registered for serving food to devotees. Besides this many organizations came forward to provide water, milk, buttermilk and other items to the devotees.
