Balakrishna refutes rumours of elevation as CM

Hyderabad, June 22: Cine actor and Hindupur MLA Nandamuri Balakrishna has refuted the rumours that he would be elevated as Chief Minister. Speaking at the Basava Tarakam Cancer Hospital Foundation Day here today, he reiterated that Chandrababu alone can successfully lead the state and Telugu Desam Party. Balakrishna announced that Basava Tarakam cancer hospital would be constructed in Andhra Pradesh. After the cash-for-vote scam surfaced, there were reports that Balakrishna would be appointed as Chief Minister. Even opposition leaders demanded that the CM post be given to Balakrishna to ensure peace to soul of TDP Founder Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao.
