Chopper surveillance for Godavari Pushkarams: KCR

Hyderabad, June 22: Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has directed the officials to take necessary steps for organising Godavari Pushkarams on a grand note. He announced that two helicopters will be used for aerial surveillance and emergency operations during the Godavari Pushkarams. He told the officials to provide necessary facilities at the temples for the convenience of the devotees participating in the grand event. Officials were asked to launch special sanitation drive at the bathing ghats and deploy other districts police. The CM said that Siddipet Rice Millers Association came forward to provide food to 10,000 devotees during the 12-day event. He assured that funds will be immediately released for installing CC cameras at the ghats. Cranes will be deployed to lift vehicles trapped in mud.
