Cash-for-vote case: EC gives nod to ACB

Hyderabad, June 17: The Election Commission of India on Wednesday gave permission to the Telangana ACB to continue its probe into the cash-for-vote case. The ACB officials also confirmed of getting a letter from the EC, directing it to continue its probe in the said case. The directive has come at a time when the ACB sleuths were issuing notices to TDP MLAs in relation to the cash-for-vote case. The complainant nominated MLA Stephenson and his daughter Jessica have given their declaration in Nampally court on Wednesday.
