Cash for vote scam accused Mathaiah surfaces in Vijayawada
Vijayawada, June 10, 2015: Jerusalem Mathaiah, one of the accused in the cash for vote scam, has surfaced in Vijayawada today and lodged a police complaint against Telangana Chief Minister KCR and ACB officials.
Mathaiah told Satyanarayanapuram police here that he has been facing a threat to his life from TRS leaders and ACB.
"TRS leaders are calling and threatening me to implicate Chief Minister Chandrababu in the cash for vote scam," he said in his complaint.
The Satyanarayanapuram Police have registered case against KCR and ACB under sections 506, 507 and 387 of IPC.
Mathaiah told a TV channel later that Hyderabad police had whisked away his brother and beaten him black and blue. "They have also held my wife and children hostage. I have run away facing a threat to my life," he complained to the police seeking police protection.
