Chandrababu: Polavaram hurdles removed
Kurnool, May 14, 2015:AP Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu has disclosed that all hurdles for the construction of the Polavaram project have been removed and the project will be completed in the next three to four years.
Addressing a media conference in Kurnool this morning , he said that the delay in the construction of the project would not be tolerated.
"All hurdles have been removed for Polavaram project. If we don't complete the project in the next three to four years, budget allotments would not be suffice," he said, warning the contractors that delay would not be tolerated.
Chandrabagu took objection to YSRCP leaders provoking people on Pattiseema project. "Pattiseema project would utilise waster water going into the sea and would quench the thirst of Rayalaseema people. The YSRCP leaders are unnecessarily provoking the people of Godavari districts on the issue, " he observed.
Saying that history will not forgive the YSRCP leaders for misrepresenting the facts on Pattiseema , he asked: "What is the wrong in diverting waster to Rayalaseema?"
We are directly supervising the works on all projects with the aim of completing them before the deadlines, he observed.
