APSRTC revokes its unions' recognition
Hyderabad, May 8, 2015: Irked by the non-cooperating stand of its striking employees, the APSRTC management on Friday revoked the recognition of its employees' unions and withdrew the facilities extended to them under the Labour Act. This means there are no recognised employees' unions in the RTC in both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as the APSRTC has not yet been bifurcated. APSRTC MD Sambasiva Rao has warned of more disciplinary action against the striking employees if they do not report for duty at least now.
