AP Special Status: Raghuveera, Chiru, Botsa stage protest in Guntur

Hyderabad, May 2: Senior Congress party leaders have gathered in Guntur today to stage a massive protest over the special status for Andhra Pradesh. The Congress leaders, including PCC Chief Raghuveera Reddy, Chiranjeevi, Botsa Satyanarayana and Subbirami Reddy, are taking part in the one-day 'deeksha' in the Guntur district. The Congress party leaders, who had already staged protests in several other districts in the state, are trying to intensify their agitation on the special status issue. In this connection, the Congress leaders assembled in Guntur and have been protesting against the central ogvernments decision not to grant special status to AP.
