Nepal quake-hit Telugus brought to Delhi, more arriving
Delhi, April 26, 2015: Indian rescue planes have safely brought the Telugu people stranded in earthquake hit Nepal cities and areas to Delhi this morning.
Indian Air Force planes involved in the rescue mission have brought hundreds of Indians stranded in Nepal to Delhi. Reports said more than hundred Telugus, belonging to both AP and Telangana, are being sheltered in AP Bhavan. They are being attended to by senior officials.
Most of the Telugu people stranded in Nepal quake-hit areas are from Hyderabad, Karimnagar and coastal regions of AP.
Indian rescue teams are trying to bring the other stranded Indians to Delhi on a war footing basis.
