AP to allot 400 acres to Jaggi-led organisation at Vijayawada

Hyderabad, April 16 ,2015:Spiritual Guru Jaggi Vasudev-led Isha Foundation will be allotted 400 acres of land near Vijayawada to expand its spiritual activities. AP Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao disclosed this to reporters here on Thursday. Asked on permitting Private Universities to set up shop in the state, the minister said a final decision would be taken on the private universities bill after receiving the report of the committee appointed for the purpose. The Minister said that the Government is convening a seminar on Universities Act in Hyderabad on April 21. Saying that three cities would be developed into educational hubs, he disclosed that 1000 to 2000 acres would be allotted for developing Educational Cities near Tirupati, Vijayawada and Visakhapatnam. Speaking about the Engineering courses, Ganta said grading system would be introduced in Engineering Colleges.
