Mastan Babu’s body could reach Nellore by Thursday: Friend

Hyderabad, April 11: Argentinian mountaineer Hernan Augusto is heading a 10-member team that began ascending the Tres Cruces to bring back the mortal remains of Malli Mastan Babu. Mastan Babu's friend Satyam Bheemirasetti, who is coordinating with the 10-member team from Hyderabad, said the ace mountaineer' body should reach the base camp by Sunday, and Nellore by Thursday. If all things go well, Mastan Babu's body will be brought back for his family and friends to bid a final farewell by Thursday next week. The team is making efforts to bring back the mountaineer’s body from a height of 5,900 metres. The body will first fly down to Chennai from where it will be transported to Nellore. Friends of Mastan Babu will be in Nellore to pay their respects to the man who inspired thousands to follow their passion.
