Vishnu Vardhan Reddy Counters Prakash Raj's Remarks on Pawan Kalyan
Prominent actor Prakash Raj recently made critical comments about Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan, suggesting that he should first focus on his own constituency of Pithapuram before commenting on the affairs of other states. “First, look after your constituency. Is it really necessary to worry now about the politics and problems of states like Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu?” Prakash Raj questioned.
These remarks were reportedly in response to Pawan Kalyan’s comments regarding issues faced by fishermen in Tamil Nadu.
In reaction to Prakash Raj's statements, Andhra Pradesh BJP Vice President Vishnu Vardhan Reddy issued a counter. He alleged that apart from staying in the news by criticising Pawan Kalyan, Prakash Raj had achieved little in the political arena. He further accused Prakash Raj of being habitually critical of the Bharatiya Janata Party.
“Pawan Kalyan entered politics and, with public support, rose to the position of Deputy Chief Minister. You too entered politics and contested as an MP in the past. What have you achieved?” Vishnu Vardhan Reddy questioned Prakash Raj.
