Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan is preparing to make a significant move to Visakhapatnam, regardless of the ongoing court proceedings concerning the state's capitals. The preparations for this transition are in advanced stages. Chief Minister YS Jagan himself made the announcement during an investors conference in Visakha, where he emphasized his right to govern from any location, even as legal proceedings continue regarding AP's three capitals and administrative decentralization. This revelation has generated anticipation among the public. If all goes according to plan, Chief Minister YS Jagan's administration may relocate to Visakhapatnam by the upcoming Dussehra festival. The necessary arrangements for this move are nearly finalized. To facilitate this shift, construction work on the Chief Minister's Camp Office in Rushikonda is being expedited. Interior work is currently underway and expected to be completed within 15 days, despite some delays in construction progress. In addition to these developments, a security cordon is already being set up around Rushikonda in Visakhapatnam.
