A Southwest Airlines flight from Houston to Cancun, Mexico, had to make an emergency landing after its engine caught fire soon after takeoff. The Boeing 737 left from Houston's William Hobby Airport but returned within 30 minutes because of the engine issue. Thanks to the quick thinking of the pilot, a bigger disaster was prevented. One traveler mentioned hearing a loud noise and then smelling fuel during the incident. Southwest Airlines has since arranged another flight for the passengers.
