9 PM Telugu News Headlines- 16th August 2023 The government approved several schemes and projects worth Rs 1.18 trillion on Wednesday, which includes deploying more than 10,000 electric buses nationwide. The Cabinet gave the nod to the ‘PM Vishwakarma’ scheme to uphold the Guru-Shishya tradition among artisans. The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs sanctioned seven railway multi-tracking projects costing around Rs 32,500 crore. The recent Union Budget had planned for railway network expansion. This will benefit two Telugu states. Starting the first week of August, the Telangana government will distribute double bedroom houses in GHMC, aiming to provide 70,000 units to the underprivileged by October. The plan to distribute cheques for the Rs. 1 lakh financial aid for minority community members on August 16 is now shifted to August 19.
