TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu has strongly criticized the government led by YS Jagan, accusing it of trying to silence certain media outlets and political parties that aim to reveal the true state of affairs in the region. Speaking at a press conference, the former Chief Minister expressed his disappointment with ruling party members who verbally attacked Chiranjeevi for his recent comments about the government. Chandrababu Naidu defended Chiranjeevi's statements which question the ruling government's concern towards the state people and suggestion to implement the same. Chandrababu Naidu pointed to his own experience as an example, alleging that he is facing legal action as part of a planned scheme because he has been exposing the failures of the state government. He reiterated that the YSRCP government employed the police to incite violence in a recent incident. He also made strong allegations against Chittoor SP, claiming that the officer is biased and follows the government's directives.
