Janaki Devi's husband, Moti Chand, had been absent for a decade, leaving her in search of answers. On Friday, Janaki spotted a shabbily dressed man in distress outside the Ballia district hospital. The man's unkempt appearance, with a long untidy beard and unkempt hair, struck a resemblance to her missing husband. The man, who had a physical disability, sat on the ground, appearing lost. Filled with emotions and hope, Janaki approached the man, convinced that he was her husband, and eagerly inquired about his whereabouts during the past ten years. She even called her children, urging them to bring a 'Kurta' for the man, believing it to be a joyful reunion. Despite Janaki's questioning, the man remained silent, which led her to bring him home, convinced that he was Moti Chand, her long-lost spouse.
