The Weather Department has issued a warning to the residents of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana as moderate to heavy rainfalls are expected to hit the two Telugu states. According to the Meteorological Department, numerous districts in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh may experience heavy rain in the next 72 hours. In particular, the Meteorological Department has indicated the likelihood of heavy rains persisting in Telangana for the next four days. A low-pressure area is predicted to form over the West Central Bay of Bengal, near South Orissa and Uttar Andhra Pradesh, within the next 24 hours. This weather system may lead to extended spells of rainfall for three to four days in various regions of Telangana. The Meteorological Department also warns of the possibility of heavy to very heavy rainfall in multiple areas.
