In an unexpected development, Nara Lokesh, the National General Secretary of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), has announced a brief halt to his ongoing Yuvagalam Padayatra on Thursday and Friday. The decision comes as Nara Lokesh prepares to appear in court in relation to a defamation case he has lodged against YSRCP leaders, Gurrampati Devender Reddy and Pothula Sunitha. Nara Lokesh alleges that these individuals have propagated false information about him, tarnishing his reputation. The TDP leader's testimony is slated to be recorded in the Mangalagiri Additional Magistrate's Court on the 14th. With the padayatra concluding this evening, Nara Lokesh will be traveling to Amaravati. He has declared a pause in the padayatra on the 13th and 14th, with plans to resume the journey on the 15th.
