Hyderabad: TRS MLC Kavitha stated that farmers could live happily only when they have access to sufficient electricity for their fields. She voiced this opinion in response to Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) President Revanth Reddy's remarks about free electricity. In protest against Revanth Reddy's comments, Kavitha organized a dharna (sit-in protest) near the power station in the city under the aegis BRS. Party leaders and corporators participated in the event, voicing their opposition to Revanth Reddy and the Congress party. Later, an effigy of Revanth Reddy was burned.
