Hyderabad: Former Rajya Sabha member Solipeta Ramachandra Reddy, aged 92, breathed his last at his residence in Hyderabad's Banjara Hills. He had been battling age-related health issues. The demise of Ramachandra Reddy has led to an outpouring of grief, with Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao expressing his condolences to the bereaved family. CM KCR praised Ramachandra Reddy's exceptional contributions to the people of Siddipet and Telangana, highlighting his role as a first-generation Communist leader who actively participated in the Telangana Armed Struggle. Ramachandra Reddy's political journey, rising from a Sarpanch to an MLA and MP, serves as an inspiration to many aspiring leaders. His mortal remains have been kept at the MLA Quarters in Banjara Hills, and the funeral is scheduled to take place at Maha Prasthanam in Film Nagar later today. Ramachandra Reddy is survived by his wife, two sons, and a daughter.
