In a recent interaction with the Yenadi tribe of Nellore district, Telugu Desam Party (TDP) General Secretary, Nara Lokesh, assured the community that under TDP leadership, plans will be put into place to construct new homes for them. His commitment comes amidst his ongoing "Yuvagalam padayatra" (youth march) in Kaluvai mandal of Nellore district, which is witnessing high participation from thousands of activists and local residents. Nara Lokesh criticized the incumbent Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) for allegedly forsaking the welfare initiatives aimed at supporting the Yenadi community. He further committed to returning the lands that had been confiscated by the YSRCP government back to their rightful beneficiaries. In his series of promises, Nara Lokesh underscored the establishment of a separate corporation specifically to assist the Yenadis. He argued that this step will ensure long-term support and safeguard the interests of the community.
