Hyderabad: Speculations and anticipation filled the air today as speculations swirled around the possible arrest of Member of Parliament (MP) Avinash Reddy by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) in connection with the YS Vivekananda Reddy murder case. However, Avinash Reddy did not appear for the scheduled CBI inquiry at their Hyderabad Kothi office, citing his mother's illness as the reason for his absence. A heavy deployment of police personnel was observed at the CBI office in preparation for Avinash Reddy's anticipated attendance. Reports also indicated that security measures had been tightened in anticipation of his arrest. However, at the last minute, Avinash Reddy decided not to attend the inquiry and left for Pulivendula from Hyderabad to visit his ailing mother in the hospital.
