Assam: Junmoni Rabha, a sub-inspector of Assam Police known for her strict approach towards criminals, tragically lost her life in a fatal accident when her car collided head-on with a container truck on Tuesday. The 30-year-old officer, popularly known as 'Lady Singham' or 'Dabang cop,' was involved in multiple controversies throughout her career. The incident occurred in Sarubhugia village, under the jurisdiction of Jakhalabandha police station in Kaliabor Sub-Division. At the time of the accident, Sub-Inspector Junmoni Rabha was driving alone in a private car and was not in uniform. The collision took place around 2:30 am, prompting a police patrol team to rush to the scene. Despite their swift response, Rabha succumbed to her injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at a nearby hospital.
