The TATA Indian Premier League (IPL) has fined Virat Kohli, Gautam Gambhir, and Naveen-ul-Haq for violating the IPL Code of Conduct during Monday's match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Super Giants at the Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow. According to a statement released by the IPL, Gautam Gambhir, the mentor of Lucknow Super Giants, has been fined 100% of his match fee for breaching the IPL Code of Conduct. Gambhir admitted to a Level 2 offense under Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct. Similarly, Virat Kohli, the batter for Royal Challengers Bangalore, was also fined 100% of his match fee for violating the IPL Code of Conduct. Kohli admitted to a Level 2 offense under Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct. Meanwhile, Lucknow Super Giants' bowler Naveen-ul-Haq has been fined 50% of his match fees for admitting to a Level 1 offense under Article 2.21 of the IPL Code of Conduct.
