New Delhi: The Supreme Court has directed the State of Maharashtra and Ministry of Home Affairs to provide the highest level of Z-plus security to industrialist Mukesh Ambani and his family members throughout India and abroad. The Court's decision was announced on Monday by a bench of Justices Krishna Murari and Ahsanuddin Amanullah. They stated that if there is a security threat, the security cover cannot be restricted to a specific location. The Ambanis' security cover will be available all across India and the same is to be ensured by the State of Maharashtra and Ministry of Home Affairs. Additionally, while the Ambanis are travelling abroad, the Ministry of Home Affairs must ensure that the highest level Z security cover is provided, as per the policy of the Government of India.
