On Thursday, TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu visited the hospital where TDP activists who were injured in a police lathicharge in Anaparthi are undergoing treatment. During his visit, he alleged that the police were instigated to see the opposition of the people to the government. He questioned why the restrictions that were not there in Jaggampet and Peddapuram had come in Anaparthi itself. Despite this, Naidu declared that non-cooperation would continue. Naidu wished the injured activists a speedy recovery and stated that the TDP party would stand by them in every way possible. He made it clear that he would fight the illegal cases against them legally. The former Chief Minister also criticized the government's handling of the situation, claiming that the police used disproportionate force against the protestors.
