The actor donated Rs. 5 lakh to veteran cinematographer P Devaraj, who has been facing financial difficulties for sometime. Chiranjeevi learned of Devaraj's situation through his team. Recently, in an interview, the veteran technician spoke about his financial struggles despite having worked on 300 films. Chiranjeevi was moved by Devaraj's plight and quickly arranged to provide Rs. 5 lakh to his family. Devaraj has worked on several films with Chiranjeevi, including Naagu, Ranikasula Rangamma, and Puli Bebbuli.
