In a speech on Thursday, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao (KCR) warned that racial animosity could lead the nation down a path similar to that of Afghanistan and stressed the importance of peace for growth. KCR, who was speaking at the opening of the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) office and integrated district collectorate in Mahabubabad, urged the public to get involved in the work being done by BRS and praised Telangana for providing a model for growth for the rest of the nation.
