The Telangana Congress has filed a complaint with the Moinabad police in Hyderabad asking for an investigation into the 12 MLAs who switched allegiances to the Telangana Rashtra Samiti (now BRS) in 2019 and to integrate the case with the ongoing probe into claims that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) attempted to enlist four MLAs for the BRS. The Telangana Congress president, A. Revanth Reddy, handed over the complaint to the Moinabad police, where the BRS MLAs had filed the complaint against the BJP for allegedly luring four of its MLAs with money and other benefits. Other witnesses included CLP leader Bhatti Vikramarka, AICC secretary Sampath Kumar, TPCC working president, Mahesh Kumar Goud, and others. A. Revanth Reddy, the president of the Telangana Congress, and Bhatti Vikramarka, the leader of the CLP, also called for a fair CBI investigation into these MLAs who had deserted.
