Vallabhaneni Janardhan gained notoriety for his portrayal as a cop and Sumalatha's father in Megastar Chiranjeevi's Gang Leader. Lalani Chowdary was the wife of Vallabhaneni Janardhan. She is the third daughter of renowned producer and director Vijaya Bapineedu.
