The TDP in Khammam has organised extensive preparations for the open forum at Sardar Patel Stadium. The party supporters held a bike rally to greet former Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu. All across the town, hoardings, flexis, and banners have been erected. For the public meeting, the TDP organised participants from 25 Assembly constituencies, including 10 from the combined Khammam district. Chandrababu Naidu chose to host the public gathering in Khammam district since the TDP is still thought to have a large following there. This was done as part of his efforts to revitalise the party. Kasani Gnaneshwar was chosen to serve as the TDP's Telangana unit's new president last month.
