Bapatla: In a tragic incident, four Ayyappa devotees were killed and 16 others injured after a mini-truck turned turtle. The incident took place near Jampani village in Vemuru Mandal, Bapatla on Monday. According to the reports, the deceased were identified as Pasham Ramesh, Panduranga Rao, Pavan Kumar and Ramesh and they were belongs to the Krishna district. The injured persons were immediately shifted to the nearby hospital for treatment. The incident took place after the victims were returning to their homes after Sabarimala darshan in Kerala. Police suspect that high speed and dense fog in the locale is the reason behind the accident.
