Asifabad: In a shocking incident, a Telangana police constable was injured severely and battling for his life after a bullet pierced through his jaw. The incident took place at Koutala police station, Asifabad district on Tuesday morning. According to the reports, the constable identified as Sura Rajini Kumar, a native of Batwanpalli village of Mancherial district was on sentry duty at Koutala police station when the incident took place. It is not yet clear whether he shot himself or accidentally misfired. After hearing the gunshot, the policemen in the station rushed out and found Rajini Kumar in a pool of blood. They immediately shifted him to a hospital in Kaghaznagar and later he was shifted to Karimnagar hospital as his health condition deteriorated.
