According to officials, a tunnel-like structure dating back 132 years has been discovered on the grounds of Mumbai's government-run JJ Hospital. The Sir Dinshaw Manockjee Petit Hospital for Women and Children's original home was discovered beneath the 200-meter-long edifice. Later, it was transformed into a nursing school, according to the reports. According to officials, the tunnel was discovered during a building check after a water leak complaint. According to Dr. Arun Rathod, the hospital's medical superintendent, Lord Reay, who was Bombay's governor at the time, lay the building's foundation stone on January 27, 1890.
