Raju Srivastava, a comedian and performer, died on Wednesday at the age of 58. In New Delhi, at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), he was receiving treatment after having a heart arrest last month while using a treadmill at a gym. Srivastava had previously had stents implanted due to a history of heart disease. Since then, he had been on life support. Since the news of the comedian's passing broke, his coworkers and business associates have sent their condolences. Raju, who had been working in the entertainment business since the 1980s, became well-known in 2005 after taking part in the inaugural season of the reality stand-up comedy series The Great Indian Laughter Challenge.
