YSRCP leaders are allegedly behind the attack on Chennupati Gandhi, the party leader who reportedly lost one of his eyes, according to TDP Chief Chandrababu Naidu. The former chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, Chandrababu, went to the L V Prasad Hospital in Hyderabad to find out how party leader C Gandhi was doing physically. Later, when speaking to the media, Chandrababu stated that they do not fear such attacks and that a day will come when all those responsible will have to endure harsh punishment. He has issued warnings to the current administration and faulted the Vijayawada Commissioner of Police for failing to act appropriately in pursuing the matter and apprehending the offenders.
