Chittoor: In a tragic incident, an MBBS studying student drowned in the waters of the Kaigal waterfalls, near Baireddipalli, Chittoor. According to the reports, an MBBS student identified as Bhanu Prakash visited the popular Kaigal waterfalls along with his friends. The waterfall is situated in the forests along the Chittoor-Karnataka border. As per the reports, he lost grip on a slippery rock and fell into the waters. The alerted friends tried to rescue him but he washed away and drowned in the pool. The police reached the spot and fished out the dead body from the waterfall and sent it to a nearby hospital for autopsy.
