People who travel between Telangana and Karnataka are already noticing the clear differences in progress, particularly in agriculture and welfare. According to Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao (KCR), Raichur residents, including elected representatives, urged that the district be merged with Telangana because they were impressed by the welfare and support that the Telangana government was providing to the farming community.
