Actor Brahmaji stated he is not interested in politics despite having an almost 28-year film career. The senior character artist stated that modern politics are not his cup of tea in an interview on a programme called "Open Heart With RK." The actor said that his appearance and physical fitness would prevent him from entering politics. He claimed it was purely luck on his part that he enjoys the same level of societal esteem that IAS and IPS officials do. In response to a query, the actor acknowledged that his second part of his film career was more successful than the first.
