An electronic media reporter who vanished three days ago in Telangana's Jagtial district after his car was swept away in flood floods was discovered dead. Rescue personnel located reporter Zameeruddin's body on Friday after a more than two-day search effort. The severely damaged car was also extricated from the stream by the rescue crew. On the evening of July 12, Zameeruddin and his friend were returning to Jagtial after covering the rescue of nine labourers trapped in Godavari flood waters by NDRF personnel when their car was washed away. According to the police, between the villages of Ramojipet and Bhupatipur in the Raikal mandal, swirling waves washed away the car the two were riding in. Though, his friend was lucky enough to survive, but Zameeruddin died.
