Ram Gopal Varma, a well-known controversy-maker, recently made some controversial tweets against Draupadi Murmu, an NDA presidential contender. A BJP cadre criticised RGV's tweet and it was learned that a complaint had been made against the director at the Abids Police station. In response to RGV's tweet attacking NDA presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu, BJP MLA Raja Singh has termed RGV a waste person and claimed that he intentionally stirs up controversy to gain media attention. A BJP MLA has demanded RGV's arrest while speaking to media. Creating controversy is not new for RGV. He was criticised in the past for disparaging a lot of people.
