Amaravati, June 4: In a freewheeling chat with media reporters, Jana Sena Party (JSP) president Pawan Kalyan said that the police failed to assess the gravity of situation in Amalapuram despite getting intelligence inputs from the Centre. The Jana Sena chief made it clear that his party is not against renaming Konaseema district after Dr. BR Ambedkar. Once again, he asked as to why the YSRCP government gave 30 days period to receive objections from the people after renaming the district. He alleged that the Jagan government was responsible for violence in Amalapuram.
