Telugu students from both Andhra Pradesh and Telangana excelled in the Union Public Service Commission's coveted Civil Services Examinations (UPSC). Students from Andhra Pradesh passed the exam with flying colours. The state's Yashwant Kumar Reddy came in 15th, P Sahitya came in 24th, and Maurya Bhardwaj came in 28th. Kiranmai ranked 56th, Poojitha 62nd, G Sudheer Kumar Reddy 69th, and Amit Narayana 70th in AP. M Bharadwaj of Narsipatnam passed the exam on his fifth attempt and was ranked 28th.
