Dr. Harsh Vardhan, former Union Health Minister and BJP Lok Sabha MP, stepped out of the oath-taking ceremony of new Lieutenant Governor of Delhi Vinai Kumar Saxena today(May 26th) after failing to find a seat reserved for himself at Raj Niwas in the national capital. A video shows a frustrated Dr Harsh Vardhan storming out of the ceremony held this morning. When asked, the former minister stated that he was dissatisfied with the seating plan and would discuss it with Mr Saxena. 'They haven't even allotted seats for Parliamentarians,' Dr. Harsh Vardhan stated. Dr. Harsh Vardhan resigned from the Union Council of Ministers last year, before of a cabinet change in Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government, after receiving criticism for his handling of the Covid-19 crisis.
